I don’t usually write about political, or religious things on here, but I had to post this one.

Cafe Press has these new flip flops on their site have a picture of the Hindu God Ganesha.  Did they really not learn anything from the 2003 fiasco that American Eagle had when they were selling similar flip flops?

Cafe Press is also selling flip flops with images of Lord Shiva, Buddha, Sarasvati, and others as well.  How could they allow this?

Would people really be sitting still and doing nothing if it were an image of Jesus, or Mohammed getting trampled on by ones feet?  I think not!

I did find this article on a different company with a similar case.  In 2003, American Eagle did pull the items from their shelves and issued a formal apology.  Hopefully, these will be gone soon also.
